Arriving early on Thursday morning we felt unbelievable excitement for both Becky and Tom knowing that the day would be something very special, we certainly weren’t disappointed. There was such thought into every detail, Burlton Manor makes for a wonderful base… this venue really does have it all. Everything is laid out perfectly to ensure that your wedding day runs like clockwork, the staff are friendly and always happy for a chat which is good because anyone who knows me knows I love a good natter at any hour… beyond that, the decor choices and beams are just unreal. If you want somewhere that has class then I believe this place is for you. This was only their third wedding and they nailed it!

Back to our couple, we were soon shown round and taken to Becky and her bridal party who were all drinking a glass of something bubbly in the lovely bridal prep area! Her stunning dress Romantica from Blue Rose Bridal, Tuxford hung off a beam in the very modern, bright and spacious bridal suite. There were dresses everywhere, a very loved bride indeed… lots of bridesmaids and flower girls to help Becky down the aisle. These dresses were chosen in elegant Dusty Pink from TFNC London & JJ’s House, stunning choices. Teamed with some lovely crowns and wands for the littles ones provided by Air of Blooms!
The weather changed the sun broke through and we all knew about it, it was glorious!! We dropped by to Tom and his Best Man Sam who were spraying all sorts, it smelt like a perfume shop. We found Tom practising or final editing his speech, he didn’t look the slightest bit nervous just happy to be finally marrying the woman he adores. He was slowly getting his tie on with the assistance of well everyone really… including YouTube whilst wearing a smart suit from Charlie Browns. Sam ran off to get the rings which were from Mitchel and Co in Birmingham, very lovely indeed.

Back up in bridal prep there was a whole host of lovely ladies doing there bit, Samantha Westwood Hair assisting with Flower girls and mothers, Jordan Blaise Hair did a beautiful job of the Bridesmaids and the very important Bride! Make up was provided by Emily E H Make Up Artistry for the bridal party and Rachael Davies Make Up did a wonderful job of Bride. Final touch ups were made and Lauren helped Becky into her dress, it was a beautiful moment.

The bridesmaids collected all their Bouquets and gathered themselves into the bridal suite where they waited to see Becky for the first time, who was now hiding nervously with a glass of water. The excitement was building! Jaws dropped to the floor in awe of Becky and how special she looked, Tom was going to be stunned.

The registrar came to talk with Becky and everyone started to gather into the ceremony room, so many happy faces, lots of people here to show their support and love for these two very special people. It was magical, we were so very privileged to be a part of their day! The vows were made and the kiss sealed their marriage, with a roar of applause and a few happy tears they walked hand in hand out of the ceremony room as the new Mr and Mrs Berrisford straight outside into the sunshine onto the courtyard where their guests provided them with a tunnel for confetti throwing with the singer Steve Jones providing wonderful background music.

The venue was dressed impeccably and most done themselves there was a very cute Sweet Cart provided by Wouldn’t it Be Sweet at the back of the room and the most adorable table on the floor with cushions for the younger children to have their meal. It was just perfect, all really well thought out. The cake took centre stage, beautifully made by Tom’s Sister and Mother! The place names were so quirky, really clever and provided by Kate Berrisford. There was an incredible balloon arch and LED signage provided by the very talented Air of Blooms! Lots of the family and their friends helped make this day so special.

The food for the day provided by Sal’s Catering from Stone! Excuse the pun but they rocked… great food, exceptional flavours and fantastic service! All piping hot and great choices. The puddings were to die for, the tiramisu… wow!
Into the evening the guys at the venue switched it round quickly to allow everyone to come back inside and enjoy the wonderful entertainment by The Review who were awesome, named Best Party Band 2022 - (Global Wedding Awards) they lived up to their award, great fun. Ending a beautiful day with a first dance that was so magical and full of love! Thank you for allowing us to be a huge part of your very special day, we were thrilled to be with you and to capture it for you. A big thank you to Burlton Manor for looking after us so well throughout the day!

All the very best in the future! With love Aaron and Victoria xxx
